OUR FACULTY

Our faculty is made of excellently qualified teachers and instructors from several nationalities. They bring you a diverse experience that will allow Riverview College graduates to have local and global employability skills. Many of our faculty have higher degrees and teacher training qualifications, thus able to bring you the best learning experience. They also have both academic and industry experience, which means that your learning will not be only theory but will be embedded in organizational and societal realities.

OUR APPROACH TO TEACHING

We have small online classes in which you can, we aim to keep our classes small to enable the learners to have maximum interactions with the professor. Our classes are very interactive with real life cases and scenarios. Many work-based courses have a work placement requirement to enable the learner to gain much needed experience before the end of their studies. This prepares them effectively to enter the workplace. Our courses are assessed via coursework and in-class test to allow you to demonstrate knowledge and skills. We aim to expose you to global networks for the acquisition of global skill sets. OUR FOUNDER

Our Founder, Prof. Dieu Hack-Polay, is a globally well-qualified and renowned educator and academic. He has three doctoral degrees in Education (EdD), Sociology (PhD) and Psychology (PhD). He earned his degrees at the world-renowned British universities of Lincoln, Surrey and Westminster in the United Kingdom. He is a fully qualified teacher and has worked in several countries including, the United Kingdom, China, Malaysia, Canada and France. His passion for education means that all programmes at the Riverview College of Higher Education are embedded in his vision for quality education and widening participation. Prof. Dieu Hack-Polay has published extensively and travelled to several countries in the world. In addition to being the founder of the college, he is also a faculty member bringing his vast experience to the learners.

OUR PROGRAMS

We have some of the most novel programs you could find around the countries. Our ambition to focus on learning rather than numbers or profit has led us to develop exciting and breath-taking programs that will set the Riverview graduate aside. We do not offer only traditional pathways. Programs such as the diploma in Atlantic Canadian Studies are novel ones that you will find nowhere in the region. While language programs are being cut in many institutions, we offer the diploma options in several languages combined with professional studies for those who wish to seize opportunities of bilingual and global careers. AFFORDABILITY

Riverview College of Higher Education offer a number of scholarships, often covering 100% tuition fees. For students applying early and those coming to us with excellent high school results, you can expect to be considered for one of our generous scholarships.
